Square Mirror Work

Square Mirror Work!
Mirror work, itself is a decorative piece.
This is very easy and can be done without glue or Fevicol.

Things required are:
Square Mirror,
Fabric,
Needle,
Thread

Keep the Square Mirror, in the place where you need to stitch. Make a frame with the thread on four sides, of the Square Mirror.

Need to make double frame with the help of the thread.

Make a knot at the back of the frame, but don't cut the thread. From any side can take the thread, leaving some space, and take the needle above the thread and bring it below and take the needle next to the Stitch.

When it comes to the corners, take all the four threads together.

Do not pull the thread tomuch, as it might change the shape of the mirror.
As it will look like a border for the mirror work.

Backstitch Chainstitch

Backstitch Chainstitch!
Backstitch Chainstitch, is a begginer's special I would say, because this is so simple that even begginer's can try this stitch by, using contrast colour thread's.

Things required are:
Fabric,
Hoops,
Two Contrast Colour Threads
Needle
Draw a line or pattern. Bring the thread, down the fabric. Take a small portion of the fabric, take the thread from left to right, under the needle and pull the needle out. Your chain will be formed. From the chain take the needle and a small portion of fabric, bring the thread from left to right, pull the needle out, repeat the process.
For Backstitch, take a different colour thread or contrast shade thread. Start from the first Chainstitch. Take the needle from the chain to the next chain, then take small backward stitch to previous chain stitch, repeat the process.

Back Stitch!

Back Stitch!
I would call Back Stitch, as beginners stitch. It is just like regular straight stitch. There are two ways to knit Back Stitch.

Things required are:
Fabric, Hoops, Needle, Thread.
Draw a pattern or design, take the needle from down the fabric. Bring the thread through the Stitch line, as we do for regular running stitch. Bring the needle again to the first stitch where it ends. Take a backward stitch, pushing the needle in at the point where it first came through.
The another way to knit Back Stitch, is as we do to stitch our clothes, but need to take backwards while knitting. This is quite faster way to do Back Stitch.

Things required are:
Fabric, Hoops, Different colour threads, Needle.
Method:
We need to put running stitch, this running stitch, should be closely knitted.

From the first running stitch, put the needle in the loop of the first running stitch, and take the needle Inbetween both the threads. Pull the needle out. Always keep the thread towards your left. Again take the needle to the next running stitch loop and bring it back to the previous running stitch, as in between two threads, and pull the needle out. Repeat this, loops will be formed.

Magic Chain Stitch!

Magic Chain Stitch!
This stitch is another variation of regular Chain Stitch. To show the variation we can use, two or three different colours of threads. Even beginners, enjoy while knitting this particular stitch.

This stitch is mainly used in outline for any design or pattern. This is an easy Stitch, in which you can use multi-colour threads. Only there are chances of threads may get entangled.
We need:
Fabric,
Hoops,
Needle,
Different colours of threads.
First draw a pattern or design. I have taken three stands of threads in two contrast colours.  Take the needle from the down, and take a small portion of the fabric, keep both threads towards your right, take one colour thread, put it down the needle and pull the needle. Repeat the process alternatively.
You can find alternative colours of chain which  we call it as Magic Chain Stitch.

Braided Chain Stitch!

Braided Chain Stitch!
This stitch is another variation of regular Chain Stitch. We can use this Stitch for borders, curves, straight lines.

Things required are:
Fabric
Wooden / Plastic frame
Needle
Threads
Method:
Bring the needle from down, and make a straight or running stitch. Leaving some space take the needle from down and put it in the loop of the running stitch. As we did in Heavy Chain Stitch. Your first chain will be formed. Again leaving some space, take the needle from down and put it in the same loop of the running stitch, but this time, keep your thread little loose and put it in same point where you have started the stitch.
Again leaving some space take the needle from down and put it in the first chain and pull the thread tight, and take the needle out.
While continuing, take the needle from down, leaving some space, put the needle to the chain of the previous stitch.
